LettPay’s Pledge to Help Cancer Research UK- February Update
In the midst of another lockdown, we all need a bit of a pick-me-up. At LettsPay we decided to host a virtual pub quiz in aid of our Cancer Research UK fund raiser. We invited friends and family to join us for a light hearted quiz which was hosted by Ethan, our IT apprentice. He put on an excellent night and has proven to be a natural quiz master.
We had some excellent teams, who provided us with many laughs – Ethan had his work cut out at times to bring us all back on track. Some of the answers were questionable but the curly wurly which made an appearance after going out of date in 2007, stole the show. It was a night full of entertainment and the success means that we will certainly plan another one in the coming months.
So, what do we have installed for March? With Lent in full swing, the theme this month is to give something up, to try to be better at something. A couple of examples include giving up bread, or trying not to moan. The idea is, if you slip up, you put a £1 in a pot each time. At the end of the month, all the money which has been saved, goes to Cancer Research UK. This challenge is one which all the family can get involved with.
